The Union County Democratic Committee will hold a special convention to fill the vacancy in LD20 created by the retirement from the Assembly of Union County Sheriff Joe Cryan.
The date set for the convention at L’Affaire in Mountainside is January 21st at 6:30 p.m.
As first reported by PolitickerNJ, Roselle Mayor Jamel Holley is standing in line to succeed Cryan as the organization’s choice.
