“I came to Christie’s, and I presented this offer to them,” Ms. Oberlander told us. “It was a partnership where we’re offering one-of-a-kind jewels from contemporary designers to the auction house. This is basically the first time, besides JAR, where they’re offering contemporary designers to the market. The designers were all thrilled with the idea of this collaboration, and created these one-of-a-kind pieces for us. I think the jewels turned out incredibly well, and it’s been so well received from all sides.” Luckily, all sides, including each of the bauble designers including Pamela Love and Monique Pean, stopped by for a cocktail to show their support in addition to Dalia’s fellow heiress pals Sarah Arison and Amanda Hearst.

“I honestly can’t play favorites,” Ms. Oberlander said looking around the room as the night wound down. “I worked with each of the designers individually on visualizing and curating these pieces, and they’re all one-of-a-kind, so I’m always eyeing them for my own collection.”

Lucky for us, the jewels will go up for auction exclusively on Christies.com starting today.
