Record: Port Authority officials given special treatment

Three Port Authority commissioners who flew through New York City and Newark airports in the last four years were provided special escorts from tarmac to curbside,  bypassing lines, having their luggage toted, and getting shuttled to an airport lounge in a golf cart, according to a report this evening by the Record.

The new findings follow on the heels of an earlier report that found that federal prosecturors had subpoenaed the bi-state agency  for documents related to the personal travel of former executive David Samson in what appears to be a widening of the investigation into Bridgegate in 2013.
