Supermodel Chrissy Teigen has certainly grown beyond her days of posing half-naked in bathing suits for Sports Illustrated. Apart from being the wife of crooner John Legend, her titles now include host of Spike TV’s Celebrity Lip Sync Battle, and come October, she can add chef to the list. If you count yourself as one of her millions of Instagram followers, you may know she is already an obvious foodie, but she will be putting her skills to the test with a late night ramen party.
Celebrity Cruises Ramen Party presented by Serious Eats will be hosted by Ms. Teigen and Chef J. Kenji Lopez-Alt on Saturday, October 17 from 10 PM-12 AM at the High Line Hotel’s Refectory. If you are lucky enough to snag a spot when the tickets go on sale this Monday, June 22nd, be prepared to shell out $150 per seat. Ms. Teigen will be joined by ramen experts including Yuji Haraguchi and Tara Norvel from YUJI Ramen//Okonomi, Ivan Orkin from Ivan Ramen, and Joshua Smookler from Mu Ramen.
The evening is just one of a few stellar events happening during the New York City Wine & Food Festival this year. The week also includes a “Midnight Jazz Breakfast” hosted by Rev Run and wife Justine Simmons, and a “Sweet Masquerade” led by the cronut man himself, Dominique Ansel.
