TRENTON – Having crushed his opponents in the June 2nd Democratic Primary, Assemblyman Jamel Holley (D-20) came out swinging today at his first press conference since the election, vowing to make heard those issues central to the Black Legislative Caucus.
“Our caucus should be taken seriously,” said Holley, the former mayor of Roselle. “For those who refuse to take it seriously, you will quickly see that we are VERY serious. These issues are too important to the people in our communities and are at a point where immediate action is necessary. No more talk! Communities are suffering and are looking to us, as their leaders, for solutions.
“We will be aggressive in action and will not back down until we see actions that are meaningful to our constituents.
