Community activist Veronica Ovalles this morning jumped into the November ward race for city council in the Silk City.
“I am strongly prepared and determine to fight for this ward,” Ovalles told PolitickerNJ. “137 petitions will not determine my victory but the hard work I will be putting in to getting people’s trust. I don’t call it getting votes but trust. If I am elected I plan to work full hours instead of part-time.
“At the same time I plan to pursue my education, master’s degree at Montclair in law and governance,” added the married mother of three (soon to be four).
