Jerry Scanlan prevailed tonight in his bid to succeed the retiring Ailish Hambel as the chairman of the Sussex County Republican Committee.
Scanlan defeated Donald Ploetner.
His term is for one year to fulfill the unexpired term created by Hambel’s departure.
