The Eight-Day Week: Play ‘Aftermath’ Supports National Disaster Search Dogs

This week, the play “Aftermath,” written and directed by JC Svec, will be benefitting the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation.

Whenever there’s an earthquake or building collapse or other disaster in which bodies need to be recovered—including right here in New York City after the attacks of September 11, 2001—you can count on brave dogs to rush in to help look for survivors. This week, the play “Aftermath,” written and directed by JC Svec, will be benefitting the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation. The show, a comedy that explores “very different perspectives on the end of life and what follows in the afterlife,” tries to get at the big questions without getting too heavy. Enjoy some laughs, help a great cause and find out if corporate sponsorship will one day be needed to help with final expenses.
