Calling all people with vacation time this summer, and $50,000 that they would rather spend on luxury lodgings than their children’s college tuition. Fear not, for we have found the perfect solution.
As those who have bravely forayed into the world of Airbnb will attest, the listings on the vacation rental site are not always at the, er, five-star hotel level. But when it comes to some of the ultra-luxurious properties currently available for rent in the Hamptons, one certainly need not worry. About quality, that is—one’s bank account is another story.
Here is a list of some of Airbnb’s most lavish Hamptons vacation rentals. Prices per night vary depending on the time of year, so for the sake of consistency, we gathered rates for the two-week period of August 15-29. While perusing, feel free to wonder why, for the same price as a two-week stay, one would not just put a down payment on a Hamptons holiday home of their own.
