Rocco F. Iossa, a specialist in government affairs and law, has joined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC as a Member, the firm announced today.
Iossa goes to CSG with more than 25 years of experience in government and law, beginning his career in Washington, D.C. as a Congressional legislative aide before pursuing a legal career focused on corporate and commercial law. In 1994, he served as Senior Assistant Counsel in the Office of the Governor of New Jersey, where he represented the Governor on all legislative matters before the New Jersey Senate. Subsequently, he was named Appointments Counsel to the Governor. In 1998, Iossa founded State Street Partners, LLC, a Trenton-based government affairs firm. He received his B.A. from Drew University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
“Rocco Iossa further strengthens the resources, abilities and visibility of our firm,” said CSG’s Jeffrey Chiesa. “At CSG, Rocco will concentrate his practice in regulatory affairs, and clients will benefit from his insights borne of deep experience.”
“For more than 43 years, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi has been a respected presence in New Jersey,” said Iossa. “I look forward to working with my new colleagues to help clients navigate the complexities of law and government affairs in New Jersey.”
Refashioned under the leadership of former Attorney General Chiesa, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC is a firm that rose on the remnants built by Bridgegate-embattled attorney (and former Port Authority Chairman) David Samson.
