Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno will be joining Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi (R-1) and his running mate Cumberland County Freeholder Jim Sauro at a campaign event in their home district on Monday night, September 28 in Vineland. Tickets will be $50 per person.

The move marks the second time that a prominent state Republican has made a fundraising appearance for the Fiocchi-Sauro campaign, following Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick’s $500-per-head fundraising appearance in Cape May Courthouse earlier this month.

The race in LD1 is one of only two races expected to be competitive this year as Fiocchi and Sauro face off against Democratic incumbent Assemblyman Bob Anderzejczak and running mate Bruce Land.

The Democrats are running with the guidance of Senator Jeff Van Drew (D-1), who insiders say is grooming the candidates to take his place in preparation for a possible congressional bid in 2016.
