Meet Prasit Kandel, Whose On the Ground Work in Remote Nepal is Making a Major Impact

I recently traveled to Gorkha, Nepal, a  remote village region where people have been impacted the most by the April 25th earthquake and subsequent aftershocks. Entire villages were reduced to rubble. It is very difficult to access these areas by ground so recovery– if any– has been slow, but one young man, Prasit Kandel, is making a major impact. I met Prasit on Facebook and my fiance and I ended up working with him for 2 weeks in Bhechchak, a village within Gorkha, to help fund the rebuilding of one temporary school. I urge you to support Prasit. He has boots on the ground in the areas that need it the most. Although the media has left Nepal, it is still in dire need of attention and support. You can see photos, videos, and read more about Nepal on my blog, too.
