The Color of Freedom | Keep the Girls Safe campaign— a product of Beauty for Freedom, an anti-trafficking nonprofit founded by model Monica Watkins; Parsons the New School for Design; and Pamela Bell‘s activism-based design studio Prinkshop– aims to raise funds and spread awareness for the fight against sex trafficking.
To spread awareness, Parsons has sponsored a series of photos and videos created by CTM Sisters Productions. The first installment, which you can see below, features model Diandra Forrest.
For their part, Prinkshop has designed a “Keep the Girls Safe” t-shirt, featuring “a tongue-and-cheek play on wording that is generally perceived as provocative,” with a percent of profits going to The New Somaly Mam Fund: Voices for Change.
A beautiful, high-design means to an incredibly worthy end.
