New Yorkers and their four legged friends assembled in Tompkins Square Park over the weekend to see the city’s mutts flaunt their best costumes at the 25th annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade.

While two lucky Chihuahuas and a Yorkshire Terrier (plus their owners) dressed as Dia De Los Muertos took home “Best in Show,” there were plenty of other standouts, from canine presidential candidates to minions. With thousands in attendance, here are some of the best looks from this year’s contest.
