Republican Assembly candidate Mark DiPisa is responding to the statement made by Assemblymen Tim Eustace and Joe Lagana that they would be attending tonight’s LD38 debate.
According to DiPisa–who had asked Eustace and Lagana to follow his lead and boycott the debate–the Assemblymen are “validating” the problematic ideas Anthony Cappola expressed his book “Outrageous!” DiPisa will not be present at Paramus High School tonight.
“I want to make one thing clear: I dealt with bigotry head on by being the first to call on Cappola to resign,” DiPisa said. “If Eustace and Lagana had any real courage they would stop hiding behind the hundreds of thousands they have spent on tv and mail attacking me and join me in a real debate about their failed record, rather than validate Mr. Cappola and his views. I am looking forward to engaging them about their failed record and discussing real solutions for New Jersey any time, any place.”
