The latest addition to the New York shopping scene is contributing a racy dose of Italian élan to the streets of Soho. Versus Versace, which is the sexy younger sister label to Versace, opened up at 75 Greene Street just in time for the brand’s London Fashion show on September 19.
Catering to today’s adoration of instant gratification, select pieces from the collection were available for purchase directly following the show. Now, nearly the entire spring 2016 collection, for both men and women, is hanging on racks in the exposed brick space. Crafted by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the range features many, many black pieces, most of which feature bold silver button details, a cool printed denim and a delightfully dark floral print. Splashed across chiffon frocks for girls and a refined shorts suit for boys, these blossom covered numbers were easily the most standout items to shop right now.
The esteemed Donatella Versace even gave the lineup her stamp of approval. “Anthony has captured the true spirit of Versus Versace. I love how he is pushing the brand that I love forward for a new generation,” she said in a press release.
So those pining for a dose of luxe rock and roll style, or simply something that is really, really new, head to Versus Versace’s new HQ in Soho.
