At a closed (to the press) appearance this afternoon in Newark with Democratic State Committee John Currie and other Democrats, veteran campaign strategist James Carville thanked New Jersey Democrats for leading the way nationally and coming out strong early for Hillary last summer with state wide Democratic Leadership endorsements and fundraising.
The invites went out to all maxed-out Clinton backers.
Carville also gave the jam-packed room of insiders a look at the presidential primary, how the early primary states are shaping up and how New Jersey can continue to help Clinton win the nomination and the general elections.
