I discovered Thing Thing via The Detroit Design Festival Instagram a month or so ago and have been obsessed with their work ever since. They refer to themselves as a manufacturing studio: they work with post consumer plastics and make their own extruders and molds to create sculptures, functional objects, and furniture. What I love most about their work is its playfulness, which comes from the primary colors of the materials they find and use, but also in the strange & lovely forms those materials end up taking.
