As part of an effort to boost Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie, Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop this late afternoon on Election Day sent GOTV troops to Paterson, heart of the Democratic Party stronghold in Passaic County.

Fulop dispatched 50 ground soldiers to help scrounge up votes for Currie’s incumbent freeholders.

Democratic Party allies of Currie’s are concerned about low voter turnout and the possibility of suburban Republicans making indentations in the Democratic incumbents.
