Yesterday Women's Wear Dailyand Variety teamed up to host a star-studded soiree, celebrating creative forces in fashion, beauty and style. The inaugural event embraced the increasing overlap of Hollywood starlets and fashion folks, including hair and makeup experts who usually aren’t commended for contouring and lauded for lobbing.

In the beauty realm, celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin was honored. Ms. Atkin is best known for keeping up with the ever-evolving Kardashian cuts, but she’s also a social media star in her own right, with 900,000 followers on Instagram. Make-up artist and beauty guru to the stars Lisa Eldridge, whose tutorials can also be found on YouTube, was also an honoree.
