Even though pundits agree that Jeb Bush fared better in last night’s Republican presidential debate than in previous ones, his campaign is still faltering, especially after its “Jeb Can Fix It” slogan went viral for all the wrong reasons.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah wants to help. It’s created a Change.org petition to “Demand (the) release of Jeb Bush from (his) cruel presidential campaign.”

“For years, Jeb Bush has been forced to squeeze himself into the unlivable confines of his family’s political lineage,” the petition states. “We’ve watched him grow thin, dull-eyed, and recently, void of all will to live.”
Signers of the petition are showing the world that “America cares about the basic human rights of worn-out political heirs,” the statement continues.
The petition ends with a personal appeal to Mr. Bush’s campaign and Super PAC, asking that he be released “for the sake of basic human rights.”
“The campaign trail is not his natural habitat,” the appeal concludes. “Forcing this intelligent, sensitive mammal to try to cope in these unnatural conditions is inhumane.”
Over 1,100 people have already signed the petition.
Media commentators are applauding Mr. Noah’s viral plea:

If all else fails, at least Mr. Bush can go back in time and kill baby Hitler.
