Apartamento is a Barcelona-based magazine focused on interesting, lived-in homes. I follow their Instagram feed for daily inspiration, it’s like eye candy for me.
Ever since I was a kid I loved visiting other people’s homes and would carefully observe the way they decorated their bedroom, their office… Even as I walk in the streets of Paris I sometimes catch myself staring into lit windows that reveal a beautiful baroque ceiling or conceptual chandelier. Unlike typical interior design magazines that feature fancy, unaffordable furniture, Apartamento shows cluttered, personal and artistic spaces that reveal the soul of their owners (usually artists, designers or intellectuals).
