Monty Python nerds rejoice! Seeso, the new streaming service launching next year from NBC with an exclusive focus on comedy, has begun its beta rollout today. Seeso has already acquired titles that will have diehard chuckleheads salivating–including the aforementioned Flying Circus, Kids in the Hall, Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation and both versions of The Office–as well as original shows from some of the funniest names in the biz. (Keep your eye out for the new UCB Show, a series spawned from the web comic Cyanide & Happiness and Dan Harmon’s animated take on live RPGs, Harmonquest.)

“We want to be the Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina of comedy – crazy, fun, constantly surprising,” said Seeso exec/resident hottie Evan Shapiro wrote in a statement to The Observer. “You’ll see stuff you forgot you loved (Python, Kids) but you’ll also see brand new, totally unique stuff you’ll never see anywhere else ever (Sammy J). Plus, Han shoots first.”

We’ve gotten a sneak peak of what SeeSo’s offering on tap for $3.99 a month, and we can vouch for the awesomeness of the spread. Of particular note is Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane, an Australian musical comedy starring Sammy J. as an unsuccessful lawyer (who inexplicably looks Aussie Ryan Gosling) and his best friend/roommate, a purple puppet named Randy who’s still obsessed with his ex-wife.

So if you’ve ever wondered what Flight of the Conchords would look like if Jemaine Clement was replaced by one of the characters from Meet the Feebles, or just want to see a Bernie Sanders impression that can top Larry David’s, sate your curiosity by signing up for Seeso today!
