New Jersey’s Marco Rubio supporters are making their way to New Hampshire this weekend to support the candidate they hope comes away with the Republican nomination for President. The group of volunteers—led by Bergen County Hispanic Association Chairman Fernando Alonso, Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo, Michael Thulen and Thomas Basta—will take a bus to the Granite State on Saturday and return to the Garden State Sunday evening.
“The bus is going up there, we are contacting people,” Alonso said. “The idea is to go up there and support Marco Rubio.”
According to Alonso, about 50 volunteers are expected to travel to New Hampshire this weekend where they will canvas, knock on doors and make phone calls for the Florida Senator.
“We will do whatever we can to show support for Marco Rubio,” Alonso said.
