MAC has a long history of pairing up with high-profile women who are edgy enough to be completely on brand. Past celebrity partners have included Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus. Now, the brand is joining forces with Caitlyn Jenner. Ms. Jenner wore a sequined gold dress to announce the partnership, which is a makeup match made in heaven.
The beauty brand announced, “Caitlyn Jenner has fearlessly shared her transition with the world. Her new MAC Lipstick, Finally Free, champions all ages, all races and all sexes.” It adds 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative. Only time will tell if this lipstick is as difficult to procure as her daughter Kylie’s lip kit or her son-in-law Kanye’s Yeezy sneaks.
