WASHINGTON, D.C. – A drunk at the bar raised his head just long to see, feel and hear the stampede of New Jersey Democrats into his hitherto quiet space.
In seconds, the Dubliner in downtown D.C. turned into the happening place for Democrats and their business allies, some of them Republicans, in an event sponsored by the Democratic State Committee.
In that press of humanity, PolitickerNJ dislodged the following nugget:
Assemblywoman Liz Muoio won’t be chair of the Mercer County Democratic Committee come the second week in June.
Richard McClellan, the former veteran chairman, will return to his post, sources said.
McClellan (pictured above, left, with Mercer Freeholder John Cimino) is close to Mercer County Executive Brian J. Hughes, who was quietly and forcefully in the room here.
