Thursday, February 11 is the Lyst x Uber giveaway sure to stock closets all over the city (Photo: Courtesy Uber x Lyst).
Today, everyone can participate in New York Fashion Week, whether they’re at home, in the office or on the runway. Users with Uber (i.e., all New Yorkers), can enter the code FINDNYFW in their Uber app to request a free collection of fashionable items based on their location. Their “Style Pack” will arrive, full of designer items available on Lyst, acting as a swag bag for those unable to partake in NYFW events. Or a wardrobe addition for those who are sitting front row.

Their partnership, “I’ve got clothes, in different area codes,” will highlight uptown and downtown New York style, along with spotlighting midtown and Brooklyn. Users will receive items based on their neighborhood. Maiyet, Theory (providing items for every area code), Jonathan Simkhai, Agnes B., Edie Parker, Milly, Violet Grey (providing beauty sets for everyone), IRO, Cynthia Rowley, White & Warren, Lulu Frost, Alice & Olivia, Bing Bang, Alexis Bittar, Totokaelo, Wool & the Gnag, Kelsi Dagger, Creatures of Comfort and Morgan Lane will all be available, based on your locale.

Beauty sets from Violet Grey are going to all locations, providing the necessary NYFW toiletries (Photo: Violet Grey).
If you’re a downtown girl stuck in midtown at work (the hours are between 11am to 3pm), it’s possible you won’t receive the edgy outfits you’re looking for. For those who insist upon making fun of friends for living in far less cool neighborhoods, now is the time to compare style packs.
