This is far from the first time she's donned a design by the British brand.

Rather than drowning your sadness in a big bottle of red wine (while listening to “Hello” on repeat), let’s hone in on the singer’s on-stage costumes. Yesterday, Burberry announced that they will be exclusively dressing the crooner as she circles the globe. The partnership was revealed to the world on stage, as she opened the tour in Dublin yesterday evening.

Adele donned a black silk gown, custom designed by Burberry’s CEO and chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey. The sparkling frock is covered in hand-embroidered sequins and fits the singer perfectly. It’s a bit dressy, with an ideal amount of shine and a small dose of dark intrigue. Plus, it seems to be a rather comfortable outfit to perform in.

In case you were wondering, Mr. Bailey is also an unabashed fan of the singer. “It is a huge privilege to work with Adele. She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance,” he said in a statement.

Turns out, the feeling is mutual. This is certainly not the first time that Adele has worn Burberry; she frequently turns to the British label to outfit her for performances and even wore one of their designs on her latest Vogue cover. Needless to say, she’s certainly a fan.
