Isabel Marant succeeds at delivering artfully crafted clothing season after season, allowing even the most die-hard New Yorker to achieve that Parisian air of je ne sais quoi. So it comes as little surprise that her label has a similar knack for piecing together beautiful stores.
While her Soho shop features a gargantuan wooden structure, her newest location on the Upper East Side is a bit more minimalist, featuring woven straw walls as the pièce de résistance. However, this new location, which opened on March 10, does feature a lot more cacti.
Located at 23 East 67th Street, this is Ms. Marant‘s fourth shop in the United States and it is aptly located on the ground floor of a posh townhouse. With design help from Franklin Azzi Architecture, the shop is a balanced mix of smooth concrete, modern ceramics in rich colors and glossy metal details. Featuring an impressive shoe selection, simple everyday jewelry pieces and some amazing sparkly pants, this Isabel Marant boutique is worth the trip uptown.
