It goes without saying that the Surf Lodge is one of the best places to catch a concert during the summer months. Nestled in the surf destination town of Montauk, the hotel and nightlife hotspot attracts a world class lineup of musicians each summer, inviting them to jam out while the sun sets over Fort Pond. Factor in a bottle of rosé and you’ve basically achieved summertime nirvana.
Last summer, the Flaming Lips, St. Lucia, Chromeo, Tove Lo and Lolawolf performed for the intimate crowds gathered on the back patio. This year, the lineup promises appearances from Miike Snow, Mayer Hawthorne, and Wild Belle. Return performances from St. Lucia and Chromeo are also on the schedule.
A slew of art collaborations are promised for summer 2016. Expect to see work from Agathe Snow and Faile–an art collab from Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller–appear on the walls of the beachside hotel. Tattoo artist to the stars, Scott Campbell, is also on the summer roster at the Surf Lodge, so prepare to get inked.
For workout fiends, the hotel will continue to offer a 10 a.m. yoga class and 11 a.m. beach bootcamp every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Star fitness instructors and wellness gurus Tracy Anderson, Jordan Bach, Anna Kaiser and Gabby Bernstein will be making special appearances.
