Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa’s “Hotter Than Hell” is a pop banger. With Lana Del Rey’s management behind Lipa, she’s slated for a ton of success. Her syrupy and soulful lyrics are hypnotizing and will make you want to get up and dance.

Bibi Bourelly ft. Jean-Paul Bourelly

Oscillating between rock and R&B, Bibi Bourelly’s “Guitar” shows off her powerhouse vocals and “take no shit” attitude. While Bourelly first gained recognition for writing Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” she’s shown her pure talent is going to leave a lasting impression.

Rooney

Robert Schwartzman’s Rooney has returned to its Cali surf-pop roots and it’s glorious. “You’re All I Ever Need” is reminiscent of the band’s self-titled 2003 debut and hones in on the guitar work. We’re grateful to have Rooney back.

White Lung

White Lung is back with a track that makes you want to head-bang, thrash and throw shit. “Sister” is dark, twisty and emanates hardcore punk, and lead vocalist Mish Way’s vocals show off her all-around badassery.

Kehlani

Kehlani reminds us that “it’s okay to not be O.K.” on “24/7.” The R&B singer went through the ringer on social media a few months back and dealt with some heavy mental health stuff. “24/7” is her beautiful response to the public, which is humanizing and serves as a reminder that life can be just plain hard, and it’s O.K.
