With scores of flashy fashion shows taking place across the city of Milan this week–for the bi-annual Men’s Fashion Week–it’s easy to forget that a fashion fair is major destination for this crowd. Tons of major brands are now unveiling their wares from June 14 to 17 at Pitti Uomo for the spring 2017 season, including Barbour, Gallo, Church’s and Ghurka.

Attendees are offered a visual feast of fanciful chapeaus, row after row of colorful swim trunks and proper Italian shoes, ranging from easy suede loafers to proper brogues. And these wares aren’t just thrown together; each brand’s offering has been carefully curated, styled and merchandised to make the maximum visual impact.

While it’s always entertaining to scroll through a round-up of street style peacocks posing on the cobblestoned streets of the Italian fashion capital, the scene within the walls of Pitti Uomo is worth a peek as well.
