Packed and ready for the long weekend in Hamptons, but missing something that’s red, white and blue but also really chic? Not to worry, La Ligne‘s pop-up shop is bound to have something to fill that niche.
A select offering from the range, which was launched earlier this year by former Vogue editors Meredith Melling and Valerie Boster, plus Molly Howard, will be nestled inside Cynthia Rowley‘s boutique in Montauk. Debuting on July 1 and remaining open through Labor Day Weekend, the shop will no doubt be stocked with a healthy amount of stripes. After all, that’s the concept La Ligne was based on.
Pieces from the brand’s Essentials and Editions collections will be on offer, in addition to a few styles which are exclusive to this Hamptons shop. That includes their signature Crew Tee embroidered with the phrase “j’parle pas français,” which is bound to entice French (and English) speakers with such an elusive statement. A slew of the T-shirts and dresses in stock will be customized with patches and tie dye treatments, assuring you won’t show up at this weekend’s BBQ wearing the same exact thing as everyone else.
A capsule collection of repurposed vintage rock ‘n roll t-shirts will be stocked in the shop as well, each customized with a hand-painted detail. This capsule collection goes by the moniker of SOS, which obviously stands for Save Our Stripes. Should you want more than just a stylish top, the shop will also be stocked with bikes, with salvaged frames that are repurposed with–you guessed it–stripes.
