With Governor Chris Christie out of the state at the Republican national Convention and the keys to the kingdom in possession of his number two, now is one of those times for Acting Governor Kim Guadagno to shine.

The front-runner in the 2017 GOP race for governor, Guadagno today will have no public schedule, according to the governor’s office.
