When it comes to throwing a great black tie party, amfAR has it in the bag. Not only is the organization focused on raising money for The Foundation for AIDS Research, but time and time again, they attract an A-list crowd.

Such was the case on July 4, when the organization threw a not-so-little dinner in Paris, to coincide with Couture week. Held at the Peninsula Hotel, the chic supper was attended by Donatella Versace and a slew of models wearing her designs, including Karen Elson (who opened her couture show mere hours before), Naomi Campbell, and the mononymous catwalker, Dilone. Jennifer Garner also donned a Versace number for the soirée, opting for an architectural black frock. Other notable attendees included Anna Cleveland, Sasha Luss, Petra Nemcova, designer Peter Dundas and Mariacarla Boscono.

Over the course of the evening, chanteuse Ute Lemper serenaded the crowd, while pro auctioneer Simon de Pury auctioned off art by Andy Warhol, photographs of David Bowie and Yves Saint Laurent and a package to attend next year’s Cannes Film Fest.
