A Fendi Château Residence Might Be the Ultimate Designer Accessory

There are even Fendi kitchen cabinets

While the realization that the end of summer is nearly upon us is nothing short of terrifying, it does mean that it’s time to start thinking ahead for winter. And no, we’re not talking about bundling up in cashmere sweaters and scarves. Not yet, anyway.

Fendi’s first foray into the United States real estate market is almost ready, in the form of the 58 luxury residences at the brand-new Fendi Château in Surfside, Florida.

The project at 9365 Collins Avenue is the result of the iconic brand’s collaboration with real estate developer Chateau Group and architecture firm Arquitectonia, and it’s just as stylish as we imagined.

The three- to five-bedroom residences range from 3,325 square feet to over 7,000 square feet, with ceiling heights of either ten or eleven feet. Each residence is accessed by way of an elevator that opens into the private foyer, and terraces overlook the ocean the bay. Interiors are curated by Fendi Casa, and the master baths finished with Calacatta marble finished floors, walls, and vanity tops, whirlpool tubs as well as a frameless glass-enclosed shower finished in porcelain and wood. Not to be outdone, the chef’s kitchens have custom Fendi cabinets and mother of pearl finishes.

Occupancy is currently set for just over a month away, on September 30. Luckily for anyone who hasn’t yet had a chance to get a glimpse of Fendi lavishness, there are still eight units available for purchase, including one of the penthouses–the cost for such luxury? Well, for the apartments still on the market, it ranges from $6.3 million to $25 million.

For when one doesn’t want to dirty their private Fendi kitchen (and we can understand why), residents have access to a private cooking space, which can be utilized for casual or formal dining.

The 12-story construction features 300 lineal feat of sandy oceanfront beach, and residents will enjoy two outside swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, pool and beachside service, and poolside cabanas (perfect to show off your new Fendi resortwear). That doesn’t even include the spa with an indoor European thermal pool, of course, sauna, steam rooms and a private massage room, so you might want to have a masseuse on speed dial. There’s also a fitness center that overlooks the ocean through a wrap-around glass window wall, so one can watch the warm Florida sea breeze flickering over the ocean whilst jogging on the treadmill.

And, if residents are ever in the mood to actually leave the premises, the building is just three blocks away from the chic Bal Harbour shops, where they can frolic among the fashionable stores or stop for a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.

There must be something about Miami right now that fashion designers are finding particularly enticing—perhaps it’s the sun kissed glow from sitting on the warm, sandy beaches or just knowing that the polar vortex is at a safe distance. Either way, it’s not just Fendi that’s flocking towards Florida—Karl Lagerfeld (who is also Fendi’s creative director of fur and women’s RTW) is also designing the lobby of a chic Miami condo, at the Estates at Acqualina.

The only thing potentially missing from these apartments? Well, we can’t be entirely sure, but we don’t spy any of the Fendi handbag charm monsters within the units just yet. We suppose the residents will simply be left to their own devices to equip their sleek new condos with the accessory…
