It’s hosting “The Dog Days of Summer,” a celebration of #NationalDogDay (hashtag optional). Finally, a social media holiday that’s actually worth celebrating, because everyone will be given the opportunity to ‘gram their dog.
Flash sale site Gilt is providing free dog adoptions in New York City, so start online shopping for the perfect puppy. There aren’t many accessories that rival the Birkin, especially since it’s the ultimate investment piece–but a new dog will certainly earn more likes on social media.

They will cover the cost of dog adoptions for the first 20 approved adopters during a puppy party hosted in partnership with the North Shore Animal League America.
