Would you carry this bag by the gold hoop? Or the shoulder strap?

If you needed a reason to rejoice on this gloomy Thursday, Chloé’s Clare Waight Keller has got what you need. She just rolled out the brand’s spring/summer 2017 range, a cacophony of high-waisted trousers, flouncy feminine dresses and perfect strappy sandals. She also offered a peek at the latest addition to the brand’s already impressive lineup of purses.

Joining the ranks of the delicately chain-laden Drew, the sharp and rectangular Faye, and the exaggerated saddle bag silhouette of the Marcie, is Chloé’s new half-moon shaped purse. Featuring two carrying options–dangle the gold metal hoop from your fingers or sling the long leather strap over your shoulder–this bag is both cute and functional. Though definitely more appropriate for the evening hours, these teeny purses can be crammed with only an edited collection of necessities, including an iPhone, a credit card and maybe a lipstick.

The hardware on these pieces is worth noting as well. Studs are carefully placed around the circumference of the bag’s flap, while the bottom is lined with a strip of gold, also accented with metal studs. The tasteful touches of metal add some glitz to these purses, making them even more worthy of “it” bag status. Speaking of which, we definitely see this style hitting that mark, so you might want to start saving your pennies now…
