With NYFW quickly approaching, some people have taken time off to prepare for the influx of activity. For others, namely the Kardashians, pre-gaming Fashion Week means spending time canoodling with other celebrities destined to be snapped by photographers in the coming weeks. The Kardashian’s first pre-NYFW stop was Kanye West’s Madison Square Garden concert, where Kim Kardashian Snapchatted and Instagrammed the night away, surrounded by a major A-list lineup.
Tickets for the concert started at $150 for the true nosebleeds, so it’s unsurprising that this tour was a celebrity-studded event. There were celebrities galore, including Naomi Campbell, who sat next to Kardashian for prime selfie opportunities. But the best possible photo was with Kim Kardashian and Sarah Jessica Parker, who looked just a tad out of place at a Kanye concert, and medium uncomfortable in a Snapchat video when Kardashian told her, “You’re like, my idol.”
Parker’s response was, “You’re nice,” as Kardashian duck faced for the selfie.Parker and Kardashian didn’t post to Instagram, but they did commemorate the moment for exactly six seconds on Snapchat.
Actually, the whole thing could have been a plot line of Sex and the City, the one where Carrie Bradshaw invites her friends to a Kanye concert. Charlotte would have an anxiety attack trying to figure out exactly what to wear, and Samantha would be looking for a rapper of her own to promote–and take home. Obviously, Miranda would stay at home.
The Jenner crew were too busy preparing for Fashion Week to head to MSG, but they will be in New York tomorrow for an interactive see-now-buy-now-event for their brand, KENDALL + KYLIE. Even without the Jenner girls, it was still full of famous folks. P. Diddy, Virgil Abloh, Chris Rock, Carine Roitfeld, Alicia Keys, Vic Mensa and inexplicably, Jonah Hill were all spotted–some even in the unruly mosh pit.
But the chicest of all A-listers was obviously North West, who matched her mom. Both wore sequined, silver Vetements dresses, but North West paired hers with a pair of effortlessly chic black Vans. The whole affair was exactly like Fashion Week, only with far more moshing.
