If you’ve been deliberating whether or not to purchase Dyson’s new blow dryer, which is officially the most expensive one in the world, GLAMSQUAD is offering the option to try it at home first. The on-demand beauty app that sends stylists to your house or hotel room will now exclusively be using the revolutionary hair tool.

Giovanni Vaccaro, GLAMSQUAD’s creative director has seen major shifts in the beauty category after a decade in the industry. This includes the rise in demand for at-home services, but, he pointed out to the Observer, blow dryers themselves have remained the same throughout the years.

“This blow dryer is heat controlled, which prevents extreme heat damage; it’s quiet, which is important for GLAMSQUAD since our beauty professionals are in clients’ homes, hotel rooms and offices,” Vaccaro said. The hushed hair tool will make it easier to chat with friends (either in-person or on the phone) while your beautification process takes place. Plus, Dyson blow-outs will be quicker than the average blow dry bar appointment, possibly giving clients an excuse to indulge more consistently.

GLAMSQUAD, described by Vaccaro as an affordable luxury, usually offers appointments lasting 45 minutes. Now, it might be even faster, and certainly quieter, thanks to this new and improved vacuum brand.
