Late Night Tales is a mash up of two of my favorite things. The playlist is a collection of albums curated by different artists all with the theme of creating the perfect late night soundtrack. Bonobo is a genre-bending British musician who mixes up live sounds and samples, combining influences from hip hop, jazz, house and soul to create a unique, chilled out sound. This album is the perfect end of day/pre-bedtime relaxer, with highlights include “Hedron” by hip-hop jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD and “The Traitor” by NYC based funk/soul group Menahan Street Band. Spoiler alert: The album closes with a story track read by the one and only Benedict Cumberbatch.
