I travel quite a bit, and I’ve always had trouble sleeping on planes. I eventually realized part of it was caused by noise and light on the plane – even when the overheads are turned off, you have TV screens, reading lights, the person next to you snoring, etc. Normal eye masks always bothered me because they place pressure on your eyes and let light leak in from the sides, but the Nidra mask has a complete light seal and molded cups so it doesn’t touch your eyelids. Sure, you look a bit like a bug, but it’s totally worth it for a good night’s sleep on the redeye.
