Celebs and their broods took a break from a busy and chilly week, piling into the Metrograph for a taste of the tropics at the Cinema Society showing of Disney’s “Moana”. The new film, voiced by Dwayne Johnson, Auli’i Cravalho, and Nicole Scherzinger, turned out a handful of celebs and their young ones for a first look at the cartoon set to debut on November 23rd.
The flick includes catchy tunes by former Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda, which had many on an emotional rollercoaster bopping along and welling up with tears. In the audience were Liev Schreiber, who took in the screening before hightailing it to the Broadway stage where he currently stars in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, neil patrick harris & David Burtka, Josh Lucas, Justin Bartha, Sienna Miller" class="company-link">Sienna Miller, Jason Biggs, Jeffrey Tambor, Jenna Lyons, Norah O’Donnell, and Liya Kebede.
