In response to Trump’s ban on people from select predominantly Muslim countries entering the U.S., Americans yet again sprung into action. Spontaneous protests were planned on little notice, and the turnout was huge. The NYC rally that began in Battery Park overlooking the Statue of Liberty turned into a 10,000-strong march through the streets to City Hall.
