In “Send in the Clowns,” the artist moves beyond the domestic archive to reconstruct Brooklyn through the lens of his family archives and the accumulated visual noise of everyday life. Collaged paper and Fauvist color give each scene a cinematic charge.

The project space is both a platform for artists and an ongoing experiment in more flexible, creative models of philanthropy. Du sees herself as part of the younger generation of collectors redefining what cultural support can look like.
