Alison Rogers likes real estate, writing and cookies, not necessarily in that order. Herself a participant in the brokerage industry (she founded Upstairs Realty, a boutique brokerage in Tribeca) she has been covering real estate for fifteen years. She has written for The New York Times, the New York Post (where she founded the real estate section), the Commercial Observer, CBS Interactive, and The Real Deal. She lives with her family in Manhattan.
