Arline Mann’s pre-painting career was in law; primarily as a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She studied painting and drawing privately with various instructors, including master watercolorist Fredrick Brosen. Her work has been included in many group exhibitions such as those at the National Arts Club (New York, NY) and The Salmagundi Club (New York, NY), in gallery invitationals, group museum exhibitions, and is included in the corporate collection of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mann has had a solo exhibition at The Association for Visual Arts (Chattanooga, TN) and a three-person exhibition at River Gallery in Chattanooga. A solo show of her work will be mounted by the Customs House Museum in the summer of 2025. Her submissions in competitive exhibitions have been awarded first prize for water media, and other awards. Her paintings have been spotlighted on Channel 3 Chattanooga, and in Create!Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, Studio Visit, Arts to Hearts, the Chattanooga Times Free Press and the Hamilton County Herald. Mann lives and works both in New York City and on a magical mountaintop in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
