Cole Garner Hill was the Observer's Managing Editor & Music Editor. He's also an award-winning filmmaker and musician: his debut solo album was released in 2014 on Pour Le Corps Records, and the short film he co-wrote and executive produced, "Son" (Grand Jury Prize, Oak Cliff Film Festival, 2015), debuted at the Maryland International Film Festival in 2015 and played film festivals across the US to acclaim.
