David Wallis was the deputy editor of the Observer. He is also the editor of two critically acclaimed books: Killed: Great Journalism Too Hot To Print (Nation Books) and Killed Cartoons: Casualties from the War on Free Expression (W.W. Norton). Mr. Wallis previously contributed to The New Yorker, Wired, Esquire and the Guardian. In 2000, Wallis founded Featurewell.com, an online syndication agency which markets
