Jason Czyz

Jason Czyz is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of International Education, an organization that for the past 100 years has been the leader in designing and implementing international education strategies and program services. During his tenure, Mr. Czyz supported the extension of the Institute’s programs in the Middle East, Latin America and Asia, as well as with private foundations and corporations. He helped solidify IIE’s position as a strategic partner to the U.S. government’s public diplomacy and educational exchange initiatives. At the same time, the Institute increased its capacity to fund rescue and emergency initiatives for students, scholars, and artists in crisis. Before joining IIE, Mr. Czyz worked extensively in Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Central and South Asia on legal reform, development and infrastructure privatization projects. He holds degrees from Knox College, UNC-Chapel Hill, and a J.D. from Catholic University. Mr. Czyz is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
